To use the REST capabilities that are built into SharePoint, you construct a RESTful HTTP request, using the OData standard, which corresponds to the client object model API you want to use. Each SharePoint entity is exposed at an endpoint on the SharePoint site that you are targeting, and its metadata is represented in either XML or JSON format.

I need to send a XML file using POST to a web service. I have a client application that creates a XML file which stores all the information required to send to the web application, but I am not sure how to go about sending it.

My XML looks like this: 2 wpoon asdasdas 2012-10-14T10:30:25 And the RESTful service I will be sending it to has the URL: Could anyone advise me how to do this, any help would be appreciated.
